"I think art has the power to inspire when the artist can convey something meaningful that makes "sense" to the audience. My goal is to compose works that encourage viewers to allow themselves to enter the image and become part of my experience. I try to convey to the observer the full meaning of my work, the moving dynamic within and around the motif. I'm able to develop a relationship with the subject and design my composition to invite the viewer to be part of my creative process."
